this is a new year and i am optimistic. mom has been in the hospital for almost a month now and my family and a whole lot of loved ones and friends are praying for her and i have faith that very soon this year mom will get well and be home with her family and enjoy more happy years with them. she is only 60 so i believe she deserves more years, and that God will heal her and give her that time here on earth to enjoy her life more fully than ever before. she has been through so much, but she is very strong and i believe God will bring her through this.
as for me, i have taken some lessons from her struggle and will take better care of myself this year. i will also be there reminding my sister to do the same as we may have genetic tendencies towards the same diseases that (combined with other factors) caused all this suffering for mom.
thank you God for healing my mom and making my family happy to have her alive and well and back home to share more time with us. Amen.
